What does "OpenAI Select Partner" mean?

Select is the entry tier of OpenAI's Partner Network, which runs Select, then Advanced, then Elite. It means OpenAI has accepted AI Operator into the network to help organisations build, deploy and scale AI with OpenAI. In practice our delivery team has access to OpenAI's partner enablement and certification tracks, we hear about product changes before they ship, and deployments we run for clients can be registered with OpenAI directly.

What it does not mean

• It is not the top tier. Select is where every partner starts.
• It does not make us an OpenAI-only shop. We train and consult on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Grok and Mistral, and we pick the model for the job. If a badge ever bent that advice, the badge would go.
• It is not a certification of individuals. The firm holds the partner tier. Individual certifications belong to the people who earned them.

Our other AI platform partnerships

• Anthropic (Claude): AI Operator has been accepted into Anthropic's Claude Partner Network at the Registered tier. We are working toward Anthropic's Select tier, which requires ten individually certified Claude Certified Architects on the team.
• Microsoft (Copilot): we deliver Microsoft 365 Copilot training for client teams today, and a Microsoft partnership for Copilot is our next step.

• Google: AI Operator ran a 12-week programme for Google's retail teams in Munich, training them on Gemini. Google's own people learned their own tool from us.

Who leads it

Tim Cakir, Founder and CEO, created The ADOPT Method™. He taught for three years at two business schools in Barcelona, GBS Geneva Business School and ESEI International Business School, covering digital marketing strategy and technology, business intelligence, technology in business organisations and e-commerce, before founding AI Operator. He was also CEO and Chief Growth Officer of TaskDrive, a 110-person sales outsourcing company, and has spoken at Entrepreneurs' Organization events and the EU-Startups Conference.
